Named after Nicholas Culpeper, 17th century apothecary and herbalist, Culpeper is the oldest chain of herbal shops in England. The original inspiration was to re-create the 'still room' of Tudor England where seasonal herbs, fruits and plants were turned into distillations, elixirs, preserves and potions for the benefit of the family. For nearly 80 years we have gained a reputation for supplying the highest quality essential oils as well as authentic herbal creams and lotions to become the destination of choice for all manner of herbal products and remedies. Our diverse range of products from aromatherapy and bath and shower products to candles are all formulated with high percentages of natural ingredients and with the greatest respect for the environment.
